Our Mission
Bonesoninc is a non-profit corporation, within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the United States Code, organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and scientific purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code (pending). The corporation is formed for charitable purposes. Guided by God, as we understand him, the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions of Alcohol Anonymous, and the spiritual principles behind them, it is purposed to charitably develop, assist with and provide employment, housing, transportation, food and clothing for those trying to recover from the disease of alcohol and substance addiction, the homeless, the mentally ill, ex-offenders, and their at risk children. We believe, as the Honorable Judge Eugene Cheek of the Richmond General District so eloquently said: "no human being is beyond redemption."
In keeping with the Traditions of Twelve-Step recovery, we are spiritual not religious. Similarily, we are primarily self supporting, raising our operational revenue from the recycling of ferrous and non-ferrous metal, mixed paper and cardboard, landscaping, demolition, light home repair, odd jobs and items on the honey-do-list. We have two trucks and a trailer ready for deployment anytime day or night.
We do, however, accept gifts and donations from friends; these may be in the form of recyclables, furniture clothing, housewares, gift cards and funds. All donations are tax deductible.
Our Goals:
*Maximum Service to God, as we understand Him, and to our fellow men.
*Carry the Message of AA to the alcoholic who still suffers.
